Everybody is chanting GST, everybody knows about it. BJP establishment is fighting tooth and nail to make GST narrative more and more acceptable to common people, and a BJP minister doesn't even know what GST stands for!
Yes, this is true. And not only it is true, it is also happening in Uttar Pradesh, which has got a freshly elected assemely!
A minister in Yogi govt named Ramapati Shastri drew blank when asked about GST. He had no idea what GST stands for. He could not even tell journalists that GST is in fact an abbreviation for Goods and Service Tax.
He kept saying, yeah I know, I know, but he could not articulate precisely what he knows!
When BJP establishment intends to make GST a part of national history, this sheer ignorance of one of BJP's own minister must have embarrassed them big time!
