New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal today questioned Election Commission for insisting on the use of Electronic Voting Machines and said that except BJP, all political parties and people of the country wanted that paper ballot should be used in polls. "All political parties (barring BJP) and the people of India want paper ballot. Then why is ECI insisting on EVMs?," Mr Kejriwal tweeted.

Earlier, Mr Kejriwal had alleged that the EC suppressed the issue of malfunctioning of the EVM at Bhind in Madhya Pradesh during a trial and claimed that ''sophisticated software was installed to tamper the machines to favour the BJP." But, the EC described his allegations 'baseless'. (UNI)
