According to sources, CM Yogi Adityanath skipped to put garland on the statue of Ambedkar in Meerut. This act of Yogi Adityanath drew ire from Dalits, as every VIP used to felicitate Dr. Ambedkar statue with garland. The crowd was so infuriated that posters of Adityanath were torn apart and slogan of “Yogi- Hai Hai” was raised. This is the first occasion of protest Yogi Adityanath has faced after his swearing ceremony of Chief Mnister. (WD)
