Youth sentenced to 3 years imprisonment for molesting a minor girl

Balasore:Special Judge POCSO Ranjan Kumar Sutar has sentenced a youth to three years imprisonment and a penalty of Rs 3,000 for sexually abusing an eight-year-old minor girl.

The judge ordered the convict to serve another three months in jail if he does not pay the fine.
Sarada Shankar Nayak (32), a resident of Bardhanpur under Sadar police station had allegedly molested an 8-year-old minor on December 22,2014.The court after going through evidence including witnesses and exhibition convicted the accused under section 8 of POCSO Act.(UNI)
