Lucknow: A youth was shot dead when people were dancing after Holika Dahan in Kaisarbagh of old city area in Lucknow on late Thursday night, police said on Friday.
Police said that the incident occurred at around 0130 hrs when several youths were dancing on DJ music after Holika Dahan in Ghasiari Mandi.
The deceased youth who was shot from behind has been identified as Pappu Sonkar. The assailant was yet to be identified.
But the family members of the deceased accused one Ralli Sonkar as being behind the crime over some money dispute.
Police said Ralli Sonkar was absconding and all nearby CCTV cameras were been investigated. (UNI)
