New Delhi: Firebrand news anchor Arnab Goswami today resigned as Editor-in-Chief of TV news channel Times Now. He is likely to set up his news entity, sources close to him, told UNI, confirming the resignation. Arnab announced his decision to quit Times Now in an editorial meeting today, ending his decade long association with the news channel with which he had become synonymous.(Pic-social media)
The outspoken newscaster, famous for his "nation wants to know" jibe, was recently provided "Y category" security cover after threatening to his life by some Pakistan based terrorist groups. Arnab joined Times Now in 2006 after he leaving NDTV. He had started his journalistic career with The Telegraph newspaper published from Kolkata. When contacted he refused to comment about his resignation. Asked to confirm or deny the news, he said "no comments." (UNI)
