Colombo: The tight line and length of bowlers and solid batting performance of Shikhar Dhawan handed India their first victory in Nidhas triangular trophy. Team India managed to defeat Bangladesh by 6 wickets in the second last over. It is to be noted that India lost their opening match against Sri Lanka.

India won the toss and elected to field first. Bangladeshi openers couldn’t consolidate the field restrictions of power-play and later middle order crumble. The tigers somehow reached 138 runs in 20 overs. In reply, India chased the target easily with a few hiccups in the middle. (WD)
