3rd ODI: India beat Australia by 7 wickets; clinch series 2-1

Melbourne: Yuzvendra Chahal 6/42, former captain M S Dhoni unbeaten 87 and Kedar Jadhav 61 provided India a historic win against Australia by 7 wickets in the third and last ODI clinching the series 2-1 here on Friday.

India faced defeat in the first match, but bounced back in the remaining two matches and won the three-match ODI series. This is the first time India have won the ODI series on Australian soil.Earlier, the visitors scripted history winning the Test series 2-1.(UNI)
