IND vs ENG, 3rd Test, Day 1: England bowl India out for 78

Leeds: England bowled out India for a paltry 78 in their first innings on the opening day of the third Test of the five-match series, here on Wednesday.

James Anderson (3/6) and Craig Overton (3/14) picked three wickets each, while Ollie Robinson (2/16) and Sam Curran (2/21) bagged two each as India got all out in the second session.

Rohit Sharma top-scored with his 105-ball 19 for India and the second-highest scorer in that innings was Ajinkya Rahane (18).

At lunch, India were reeling at 56/4 after winning the toss and electing to bat first.
