4th T20I: NZ win toss, opt to bowl; Injured Williamson ruled out, Southee to lead

Wellington: New Zealand stand-in captain Tim Southee won the toss and elected to bowl first against India in the fourth T20I at Sky Stadium here on Friday.

New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson was ruled out of the match, owing to a shoulder injury which he picked while diving in the field in the third match. Southee will lead the Kiwis in his absence.

Black Caps made two changes in their team, bringing in Tom Bruce and Daryl Mitchell in place of Williamson and Colin de Grandhomme.

On the other hand, Virat Kohli led India gave rest to Rohit Sharma, Mohammed Shami and Ravindra Jadeja and the trio were replaced by Sanju Samson, Navdeep Saini and Washington Sundar for this match.

India lead the five-match series 3-0.
