Kolkata:The Cricket Association of Bengal today released fast-medium pacer Ashoke Dinda, who had been out of Bengal team for the last season, to play for another state of the country.Thirty-six-year-old Dinda, before being dropped from Bengal squad on disciplineering ground in seasons 2019-20, had been the strike bowler for many years.
The CAB president in a letter to Dinda today released him as well issued a no objection certificate to him following his request to play for other state in the country during 2020-21.
" We are sure that you would certainly perform well for the team that you intend to play for since there is still a lot of cricket left in you", CAB president Avishek Dalmiya said in the letter.
The bowler has not revealed the state he intended play in first class domestic cricket.
" I must assert that your contribution to Bengal is immense over the years and it is something that would always be acknowledged and cherished by the association," the letter added.(UNI)
