Hangzhou: India made history after Dipika Pallikal and Harinder Pal Singh Sandhu won the first-ever mixed doubles gold medal in Asian Games history.
The Indian pair beat Malaysia's Aifa Azman and Mohd Syafiq Kamal 11-10, 11-10 in the final here on Thursday. The pair had just dropped two games in all their Asiad encounters.
