Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell tests positive for COVID

Melbourne: Australia all-rounder and captain of Melbourne Stars Glenn Maxwell has tested positive for Covid-19, Big Bash League (BBL) franchise Stars said on Wednesday.

"The Melbourne Stars can confirm that Maxwell has returned a positive rapid antigen test," Stars tweeted.

As many as 12 players and eight support staff members have contracted the virus. Maxwell is the latest edition to the list. (UNI)
