Bharat Army to celebrate Pink Day at The Oval on Day 3 On August second, the "Bharat Army' will proudly turn The Oval pink for a cause that matters far beyond the boundary ropes. As part of the Pink Day initiative, Bharat Army members will don a special edition pink jersey in solidarity with Lymphoma Action, the UK’s only charity dedicated solely to supporting those affected by lymphoma, the fifth most common cancer.
This visual show of support will take place at Block 7, Bharat Army Stand on Day 3 of the Test match, with hundreds of fans expected to take part in a colourful tribute to those battling the disease. The campaign has already caught the attention of Lymphoma Action on social media, who acknowledged the support: “Thank you so much for helping us to make sure no one has to face lymphoma alone.”
“Cricket brings people together like few things can, and this Pink Day is about using that spirit of unity to shine a light on a vital cause. We’re proud to support Lymphoma Action and hope this gesture inspires our community to stand up, show up, and give back in whatever way they can. The Bharat Army is determined to make a meaningful difference together," said Rakesh Patel, founder of the Bharat Army. (UNI)
