New Delhi: Team India's leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal tied the nuptial knot with choreographer Dhanashree Verma on Tuesday in Gurgaon. Chahal's wedding was a family ceremony.
Chahal and Dhanashree were engaged on August 8 this year. Chahal recently returned to India after playing ODIs and the T20 series in Australia. Dhanashree Verma is a doctor by profession, but she is also a famous You-tuber and dancer. Her YouTube channel also has more than 1.9 million subscribers. Besides, her number of followers on Instagram is also around 19 lakhs.
Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who made his debut in international cricket in 2016, has played 54 ODIs and 45 T20 Internationals for India. He is also a former chess player. He has taken 92 wickets in ODIs and 59 wickets in T20 Internationals so far.
Chahal started his IPL career in 2013, due to which he cemented his place in the national team. He has taken 121 wickets in a total of 99 matches played so far. (UNI)
