New Delhi: Despite tensions on the border between India and China and calls for a boycott by Chinese companies and goods in India, China's mobile company Vivo will remain the title sponsor of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The Government of India has received the green signal for the 13th edition of the IPL in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 19 September. The tournament will be held from 19 September to 10 November.
In a crucial meeting of the IPL Governing Council on Sunday, the IPL decided to retain all its major sponsors, including China's mobile company Vivo, which is the title sponsor of the IPL.
