New Delhi: Greetings poured in for former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, as he is celebrating his 40th birthday on Sunday.
The Indian cricket fraternity including Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar extended their warm wishes to the classy left hander for the occasion.
Sachin shared a picture of him with Yuvraj on Twitter and wrote: "Happy birthday Yuvi! Have spent some of my most memorable moments with you on and off the field. Look forward to many such moments…. Wish you a great day and year ahead soooperstar!!"
The cricketer turned politician and Yuvi's 2011 ICC World Cup teammate Gautam Gambhir wished the former cricket a long and healthy life, "You make everything look easy Prince be it on the field or of it! May god bless u with a long & healthy life," Gambhir tweeted.

Yuvraj holds the world record for the fastest fifty in international cricket. He scored his fifty in just 12 balls against England in the 2007 T20 World Cup, during which, he hit six sixes in an over against Stuart Broad .He became the first batsman to hit six sixes in an over in the shortest format of cricket and the second batsman in the world to do so in international cricket.
Yuvraj, who was awarded 'Man of the Tournament' in 2011 ICC WC, donned the Indian jersey for 17 year and has played 402 matches (304 ODIs, 40 Test matches and 58 T20I), scoring 11,778 international runs and scalped 148 wickets.
The Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) also praised Yuvraj Singh on his birthday and highlighted his impressive statistics, it wrote, “402 international matches, 11,778 international runs & 148 wickets Ok hand. 2007 World T20 & 2011 World Cup-winner, Here's wishing Yuraj Singh a very happy birthday.”
The International Cricket Council (ICC) tweeted: “11,778 runs and 148 wickets in 402 internationals Flexed biceps. ICC T20 World Cup and ICC Cricket World Cup winner Trophy Fastest fifty in T20Is Fire.”
In 2019, Yuvraj announced his retirement from international cricket by holding an emotional press conference. (UNI)
