CSK team doctor suspended for a post in bad taste against Martyrs

Chennai:Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) today suspended its team doctor Madhu Thottappillil for posting a tweet which were in 'bad taste' on the death of 20 Indian armymen in a fight with Chinese troops in Galwan Valley,
CSK, in a tweet, expressed regret and said Dr Madhu, who was with the team since the IPL began, has been suspended from his position as the Team Doctor.
 
''The CSK Management was not aware of the personal tweet of Dr Madhu Thottappillil. He has been suspended from his position as the Team Doctor'', the tweet said.
 
''Chennai Super Kings regrets his tweet which was without the knowledge of the Management and in bad taste'', it said.A total of 20 Indian Armymen were killed in a clash with Chinese Troops at Ladakh in Galwan Valley,
 
Thottappillil, who had posted a tweet mocking the government,had later deleted it.(UNI)
