CWG: Heena Sidhu wins gold in women 25 m pistol shooting

Gold Coast: India's veteran shooter Heena Sidhu on Tuesday broke the record and bagged gold in the women's 25-meter pistol shooting event in the 21st Commonwealth Games. 

This is the second medal for 28-year-old Heena in the Gold Coast Games. Prior to this, she won silver in the 10-meter air pistol event. The Indian shooter made a new CWG record of 38 points in the final to take the title. Elena Galiabovitch of Australia scroed 35 to take silver while Malaysia's Alia Sazana Azahari got bronze with 26 points. (UNI)
