Dhoni hits the net with Jharkhand Ranji team after being denied BCCI's central contract

Ranchi:On the day when the BCCI dropped former Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni from its list of centrally contracted players 'Mahi' was spotted practising at the nets of the JSCA international stadium along with players of Jharkhand Ranji Team.

By hitting the nest Dhoni has given indications of his preparations for the next season of the IPL. The presence of Dhoni in the nets also had the players of his state Ranji team surprised as the majority of them were not aware of his plans, however, the players were just happy to have him around in the nets and hoped that he would be more regularly practising with them.

Dhoni apart from doing his usual training routine also batted for while in the nets. He has got a brand new bowling machine for his training sessions. 

On the other hand, the Jharkhand Ranji Team after being defeated by Maharashtra will look to improve its performance in the match against Uttarakhand which is slated to commence from Sunday.(UNI)
