New Delhi: India Under-19 player Manjot Kalra, who smashed an unbeaten ton in the summit clash of the recently concluded ICC U-19 World Cup, is eagerly waiting for the upcoming 2018 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).The 19-year-old Delhi batter had made headlines after the unbeaten 101-run knock in the finals against Australia, which also helped India to secure the title this year.
Speaking to mediapersons on the sidelines of a promotional event by GNC (General Nutrition Centers) on Wednesday, Manjot said that he was satisfied with his show in the Under-19 World Cup and is now eagerly waiting for the cash-rich league. Significantly, Manjot was pocketed by IPL franchise Delhi Daredevils in Rs 20 lakhs."I am very excited to feature in the IPL. Till now, I have faced only the Under-19 bowlers but now there is a chance for me to face the international bowlers which will help me a lot in enhancing my skills," said Manjot.(UNI)
