Another Name changed, Ekana stadium is now Atal Bihari Vajpayee stadium

Lucknow: The Ekana cricket stadium in Lucknow where the second T20 match between India and West Indies would be played on Tuesday would be known after "Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Stadium."
      
The information was given by state principal secretary urban development Nitin Ramesh Gokran here on Monday.He said that an agreement has been signed between Lucknow  Development Authority (LDA) and the Ekana Sportscity private Ltd and GC Construction and Development LTD.
  
The cricket stadium is situated in Gomti  Nagar the all modern facilities and a capacity of 50,000 spectators. Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee,  who died in August last, had represented the Lok Sabha five times from Lucknow.(UNI)
