Ex Ranji Trophy player slams Irfan Pathan, quits as selector from JKCA

Jammu: Slamming Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan for his “dictatorial attitude”, former Ranji Trophy and ICL player Dhruv Mahajan on Sunday called it a day as the selector of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association.

The JKCA has roped in Pathan as a player and mentor for upcoming season's Ranji Trophy Tournament.

Dhruv Mahajan, who had captained the J&K Ranji Trophy team four times and was acting as selector after retiring from domestic cricket, lashed out at Pathan for his alleged unwanted interference into the selection process for different age groups.

“Irfan is unnecessarily interfering into the selection process,” Mahajan here told UNI on Sunday.

“His interference into the selection process is an utter violation of the JKCA Constitution,” said the former ICL player. (UNI)
