Gujarat Titans wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha severs ties with Bengal, gets NOC from CAB

Kolkata:IPL 2022 winners Gujarat Titans wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha on Saturday got an "NOC" (No Objection Certificate) from the Cricket Association of Bengal, a relation he had for the past 15 years.

“ Mr Wriddhiman Saha came to CAB and in an application to President Avishek Dalmiya sought the NOC from the association. CAB gave concurrence to the request of Mr Saha and provided the NOC to him for playing for another state,“CAB also wished him the very best for his future endeavours, ” said a CAB statement.

Thirty-seven-year-old wicket-keeper batsman before winning the IPL2022 championship said he also declined a CAB request to play for Bengal in Ranji semi final match against Madhya Pradesh in June." Saha had a very good IPL 22 season with the Gujarat Titans.Saha played a crucial role at the top for the Hardik Pandya-led team as he scored 317 runs in 11 matches, including three fifties.
