Hamilton T20: India wrap up 5-match series with Rohit’s heroics in Super Over

Hamilton: In a thrilling contest of the third T20 match between India and New Zealand, the visitors beat hosts by 3 runs in the Super over wrapping up the 5-match series with Rohit Sharma hitting six off Southee in the last ball here at at Seddon Park on Wednesday.

The match ended on a tie going into Super Over. India scored 179/5 in 20 overs while New Zealand 179/6.

Batting first New Zealand batters Willamson and Guptill took score to 17 runs in 6 balls while for India it was Rohit Sharma who hit two sixes and one four in Southee’s spell along with Rahul. (UNI)
