New Delhi:Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya on Thursday became a father as he and his wife Natasa Stankovic welcomed their first child, a baby boy, into their lives.
Pandya took to social media to share an adorable photo of his baby boy. In the photo, Hardik can be seen holding the hand of the newborn.''We are blessed with our baby boy,'' Pandya tweeted.
 
The couple has been sharing pictures from the baby shower the last few weeks. Pandya had announced the news of Natasha's pregnancy last month.Meanwhile, wishes started pouring in from the cricket fraternity for the first-time parents as the they started the new innings of their life.
 
India captain Virat Kohli was among the first ones to wish Hardik and Natasa. "Congratulations to you both," Kohli wrote responding to the photo of Hardik's baby boy.
 
Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal took to social media to congratulate his "brotherman" on becoming a father.
 
"Congratulations my brother @hardikpandya7 on the birth of your son! Lots of love to Natasa, the beautiful boy and you. Hope everyone is healthy," Opener Shikhar Dhawan wrote in his social media post.Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also wished the couple, welcoming 'Pandya Jr'.
 
"Congratulations to the couple and a warm welcome to Pandya Jr," the BCCI said in its post.Hardik's Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians shared a heartwarming message for the first-time parents."Welcome to One Family. Congratulations Hardik and Natasa," the MI wrote.
 
Pandya announced his engagement on New Year's Eve during their year-end vacation to Dubai. Hardik and Natasa, a Mumbai-based Serbian actor, had been dating for quite some time before they made their relationship public on December 31.(UNI)
