India defeated arch-rival Pakistan by six wickets in ICC Champions Trophy in Dubai. Chasing the target of 242 set by Pakistan, India scored 244 losing only four wickets with 7.3 overs to spare. As netizens started a meme fest on social media mocking Pakistan after India's win in the Champions Trophy, the Delhi Police yet again joined in with a witty remark.

The Delhi Police took to X (previously Twitter) to poke fun at Pakistan, saying, "Just heard some weird noises from the neighbouring country. Hope those were just TVs breaking".

This post was a lighthearted way to celebrate India's victory, and it quickly went viral on social media. Delhi Police also congratulated the Indian cricket team and Virat Kohli on their win, using hashtags like #INDvsPAK, #ViratKohli, and #TeamIndia.

Earlier, Delhi Police had shared a similar post in June 2024, when India beat Pakistan by 6 wickets in the ICC T20 World Cup in New York.

Tagging New York City Police Department, it posted, “We heard two loud noises. One is "Indiaaa..India!", and another is probably of broken televisions. Can you please confirm?”.
