San Francisco: Tennis great Serena Williams said that she has not retired from the sport and the chances of her return are "very high".
The 23-time grand slam champion has previously announced she would "evolve away from tennis" after this year’s US Open, and added "never liked the word retirement."
"I’m not retired … The chances are very high (of playing again)," CNN quoted the 41-year-old as saying at a conference in San Francisco on Monday, where she was promoting Serena Ventures, her investment company.
"You come to my house, I’ve got a court," she added.
The tennis legend did not confirm last month's US Open as her farewell event, she was garnered with tributes and bid an emotional goodbye after losing in the third round to Ajla Tomljanovic of Australia. (UNI)
