Colombo: India were all out for 225 in the rain-curtailed third and final ODI against Sri Lanka, here on Friday.

The match was reduced to a 47-over-a-side affair after rain interruption. India were in a strong position having managed 147 for 3 in 23 overs when rain forced the players off the field.

When they returned after a break of more than an hour and a half, visitors lost their middle order in quick succession and could add only 78 runs, losing seven wickets and eventually getting all out in 43.1 overs.

Prithvi Shaw (49) and Sanju Samson (46) were top scorers for India while Akila Dananjaya (3-44) and Praveen Jayawickrama (3-59) picked three wickets each.

Brief scores: India 225 in 43.1 overs (Prithvi Shaw 49, Sanju Samson 46; Akila Dananjaya 3-44, Praveen Jayawickrama 3-59) vs Sri Lanka (UNI)
