Dharamshala: India wicket-keeper batter Ishan Kishan is under medical observation after being hit by a ball during the second T20I between India and Sri Lanka at HPCA here.
"After being hit by the ball yesterday Ishan Kishan was being investigated and examined by the Medical team of BCCI and doctors of the hospital here and they were monitoring him," Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) spokesman Mohit Sood told UNI.
Sood said that the medical bulletin will be issued by the team doctors and management on Sunday.
In the fourth over of the match, Lankan pacer Lahiru Kumara's bouncer struck Kishan's helmet and the physios rushed to the middle for the mandatory concussion check.
Kishan went on to make 16 runs off 15 balls. (UNI)
