North Sound: Riding on skipper Manish Pandey's 100 and Shubman Gill's 77 and Krunal Pandya's fifer helped India A to thrash West Indies A by a massive 148 runs in the third ODI in Antigua to seal the five-match series.
After, opting to bat first, the visitors despite a horrid start they scored a mammoth of 295/6 with the help of Manish Pandey and Gill who played handsomely.
After Anmolpreet was sent back for a duck, Gill and Shreyas Iyer, however, took the charge and had a 109-run partnership for the second wicket to seize the initiative back.
Later the partnership came to a halt when Rahkeem Cornwall dismissed both Gill and Iyer. However, Pandey took charge and set India A on track for the eventual total.
While chasing the target, the hosts, often seemed to be in troubles, as Krunal Pandya's bowling did not make things any easier. He claimed a fifer to demolish West Indies A's batting lineup and helped his team to beat West Indies A by 148 runs.(UNI)
