Rajkot:India beat West Indies by an inning and 272 runs in the first test-match here at Saurashtra Cricket Association Ground on Saturday.
A maiden five-wicket haul from Kuldeep Yadav tore apart the Windies batting order as the visitors went to tea with 185 runs on the board for the loss of 8 wickets on day three.
 
Indian bowler's splendid performance, enforced the follow-on after they dismissed the Windies for 181 in the first innings.
 
It is one of the biggest victory in India's test history. India last defeated the West Indies by an innings and 126 runs in November 2013 in Mumbai.(UNI)
