Visakhapatnam: India defeated Sri Lanka by eight wickets in the series-deciding third and final one-dayer to clinch the three-match series 2-1 in the At YS Rajasekha Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket stadium here on Sunday.

Brief Score: Sri Lanka: 215 all out in 44.5 overs (Tharanga 95; Chahal 3 for 46, Yadav 3 for 42 India: 219 for two in 32.1 overs (Shikhar Dhawan 100; A Dananjaya 1 for 53. The BCCI Announced Man of the Series to Shikhar Dhawan by 168 Runs. (UNI)
