India beats South Africa; registers 1st series win

Port Elizabeth: With cricketer Rohit Sharma’s stupendous century and Kuldeep Yadav’s crushing bowling in the fifth leg of 6-match ODI series, Indian cricket team on Wednesday managed to clinch the series with 4-1 and registered its 1st series win in South Africa. India won by 73 runs from South Africa in the 5th ODI match.India beat South Africa in the fifth of the six-match series.

Batting first, Rohit Sharma finally came good in the six-ODI series as he scored his 17th century to help India cross the 200-run mark for the first time at St George’s Park in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday.The opener’s solid scored 115 as India gave South Africa 275-run target. Kuldeep Yadav took 4/57 as South Africa were dismissed for 201. South African pacer Lungi Ngidi took four wickets for 51 runs to be the hosts’ best bowler. The Man of the Match was given to Rohit Sharma.
