Brisbane: India's first ICC Women's T20 World Cup warm-up match against arch-rivals Pakistan was abandoned here on Sunday without a ball being bowled, owing to a waterlogged outfield.
Heavy downpour, here, resulted in the match being called off even without a toss being held at the Allan Border Field, denting India's preparations for the tournament.
India will face West Indies in their second and final warm-up game here on February 18.The T-20 World Cup will begin with an exciting clash between India and current champions -- four-time winners Australia in Sydney on February 21. (UNI)
