India to host Afghanistan for their first-ever Test match

Kolkata: The Indian cricket board announced today that it would host for their first-ever Test match in 2018/19.However, the dates for the history Test play were yet to be announced.The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced to host Afghanistan for their first-ever Test match, BCCI said.The historic match that signifies the strong bond that the two nations and their respective cricket Boards share will be held in the upcoming home season (2018-19).

The BCCI has always stood by the Afghanistan Cricket Board and have taken active steps in the development of the game within the country and even outside, it added.In 2015, the BCCI and Afghanistan Cricket Board signed an MOU with Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority to use Sports Complex as the home ground for Afghanistan cricket team.
