Nail biting finish of IND vs WI match, Hope hits last ball four to tie

Visakhapatnam: The second One Day International of the five-match series between West Indies and India, ended in a tie as Shai Hope hits last-ball for four at Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium here on Wednesday night.

Windies needed 5 runs to win from the last over but he could muster only a boundary towards third man.Shai Hope remains not out for 123 and played a starring role, along with Shimron Hetmyer, who was dismissed for 94.
 
For India, Kuldeep was the star of the day for the hosts as he picked up three wickets.Earlier, put into bat, India scored 321 runs in the stipulated 50 overs, losing six wickets.Virat Kohli was once again the star of the show for the hosts as he remained unbeaten on 157. Ambati Rayudu also contributed with a well-made 73. As for the visitors, Ashley Nurse and Obed McCoy scalped two wickets each.
 
Also, during the course of his unbeaten innings, Kohli became the fastest to 10,000 runs in ODI?cricket by breaking the record of Sachin Tendulkar.?While Tendulkar had done it in 259 innings, Kohli reached there in his 205th innings.
 
Virat Kohli , who was declared as the Man of the Match in the first ODI match played at Guwahati, was also declared as " Player of the Match" in the second ODI match.
 
However in the first ODI match played at Guwahati, India won against the West Indies by eight wickets .India still leads the 5-match series 1-0 after two matches.The third ODI will be held at Pune on October 27.
