Kolkata: India scripted yet another cricketing history winning the maiden day-night pink ball Test play by an innings and 46 runs against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens here on Sunday.
Bangladesh were all out in 195 runs in 41.1 overs trailing India’s first innings knock of 347/9 declared. Mamdhullah, who was retired hurt at 39 on Saturday, could not take field today. This was India’s fourth successive innings victories at home after Bangladesh were handed by innings and 130 runs defeat at Indore last week.
