Indian Softball team wins bronze in U-17 Men's softball Asia Cup

Pune:The Indian Softball team has won Bronze medal in "2019 U-17 Men's Softball Asia Cup" held at UTM, Johar Bahru in Malaysia from September 7 to 13.This is the first time that Indian Softball team has won a medal in an international tournament outside India. (Pic- Twitter)

A total of six teams participated in the tournament, including Japan, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and India.Anirudha Sharma (director of Physical Education & Sports) from Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce was  deputed as coach of the Softball team, a press statement issued by Symbiosis said here on Monday.(UNI)
