Kolhapur: Vice-captain of Indian women's cricket team and opening batsman, Smruti Mandhana, has enrolled herself at Sanjay Ghodavat University (SGU), Atigrey in Hatkanangale teshil of the district for three-year degree course of Bachelor of Commerce.
Sanjay Ghodavat, chairman of Ghodavat group, while welcoming Ms Mandhana's decision to choose the SGU for further education with admission in first-year of BCom course, said in a press release here on Sunday that it was a proud moment for the university that India's star woman cricketer has chosen this institute for her college education, and hoped that it would help enhance the reputation of the university's faculty of Commerce and Management.Virat Giri, principal of Sanjay Ghodawat Polytechnic, and other staff were also present on this occasion.(UNI)
