‘Indiranagar ka Gunda’: Internet reacts as Rahul Dravid gets into argument after auto driver hits his car in Bengaluru

Rahul Dravid, the former Indian cricket captain and coach, was involved in a minor road accident in Bengaluru on Tuesday evening. His car collided with a goods auto on Cunningham Road, causing a heated argument between Dravid and the auto driver.

The incident occurred around 6:30 PM when the auto driver rammed into Dravid's car from behind, causing it to jolt forward and make contact with the car in front. Dravid, visibly upset, stepped out to inspect the damage and took down the auto driver's contact details and the vehicle’s registration number.

The internet is abuzz with reactions to the video of the incident, with many users expressing surprise at seeing the normally calm and composed Dravid in an animated argument. The accident reminded the netizens of an advertisement done by Dravid a few years ago, where he shed his 'nice guy' image and had altercations with other drivers in the heavy Bengaluru traffic and it sparked 'Indiranagar ka Gunda' meme on social media.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and no police complaint has been filed regarding the incident. Dravid has since returned to his coaching duties with the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
