Dubai: Rohit Sharma is the latest to join the injured player's list in the ongoing IPL 2020. It is to be noted that Rohit has missed the last two IPL 2020 league games for Mumbai Indians due to a hamstring injury.
In the absence of Indian opener, Caribbean allrounder Kieron Pollard was leading the franchise Mumbai Indians owned by conglomerate Ambanies. Rohit Sharma was also left out from India's tour of Australia. The Hitman was unable to make space in any format of the squad.
At present, Mumbai Indians are the table toppers. Interestingly Kieron Pollard has an even better record as a skipper than Rohit Sharma. The west Indian allrounder lost first match as a captain this season vs Rajasthan Royals by 8 wickets.(WD)
