Dubai:Sunrisers Hyderabad allrounder Mitchell Marsh has been ruled out of IPL 2020 with an ankle injury and will be replaced by West Indies cricketer Jason Holder, the franchise announced on Wednesday.''Mitchell Marsh has been ruled out due to injury. We wish him a speedy recovery. Jason Holder will replace him for #Dream11IPL 2020,'' tweeted SRH.

Marsh twisted his right ankle in SRH's season opener against the Royal Challengers Bangalore on his bowling follow through. The all-rounder, whose career has been marred by a series of injuries, tried to finish his first over but managed only two more deliveries before limping off the field.

He did not bat in his designated position in the team's middle-order in the run chase and instead came out to bat at number 10 in SRH's chase but it was evident that he was finding it even difficult to stand. SRH lost their first game against RCB by 10 runs. They will play Kolkata Knight Riders in their next match in IPL on Saturday in Abu Dhabi. (UNI)
