IPL 2022 auction: Fans go berserk as Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan makes 1st public appearance after drugs case

Bengaluru: Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan made his first public appearance along with his sister Suhana Khan at the ongoing 2022 IPL Auction on Saturday.

They are attending the auction on behalf of SRK for their team Kolkata Knight Riders. In previous editions too, Aryan had attended the mega auction.

KKR, which had won the IPL title twice with Gautam Gambhir at the helm of affairs, is jointly-owned by SRK and Juhi Chawla.

Soon after Suhana and Aryan were spotted at the event, their photos went viral on social media. They were seen wearing casual dresses and masks, and sitting together while listening to the announcers at the event.

Aryan, who had been keeping away from limelight since October 2021, had fans cheering for him in tweets.

The 23-year-old Aryan had made headlines last year, when the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested him in connection with a drug bust in October last year.

He was arrested on October 3, hours after drug raids on a cruise ship party by the NCB. He spent three weeks in Mumbai's Arthur Road jail.

At last year's auction, Juhi's daughter Jahnavi Mehta, 19, was the youngest bidder at the venue. (UNI)
