Pune: Rajasthan Royals (RR) will look to get back on the top when they play Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL 2022 match here at Maharashtra Cricket stadium on Tuesday.

While Sanju Samson's Rajasthan are placed third in the standings with five wins in seven games, Faf du Plessis-led Bangalore occupy the fifth spot with five wins in eight matches.

In their last fixtures, RR registered a 15-run win over Delhi Capitals. RCB suffered a massive 9-wicket loss against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

For RR, who have showcased an all-round show in their previous wins, orange cap holder Jos Buttler, Devdutt Paddikal and skipper Samson form a strong top order. Shimron Hetmyer has been consistent in the middle order.

Trent Boult and Prasidh Krishna are a potent duo who regularly claim early wickets. Purple cap holder Yuzvendra Chahal could create misery for RCB batters in the death overs.

On the other hand, RCB are struggling with inconsistency in their top order. Anuj Rawat, Virat Kohli struggled to contribute with the bat. Middle order have mostly been the core contributer to the team score.

The likes of Josh Hazlewood, Mohammed Siraj, and Harshal Patel are the vital cog, who can pose threat to RR batters.
