IPL 2022, SRH vs GT: Shaky Sunrisers Hyderabad to face unbeaten Gujarat Titans

Mumbai: Gujarat Titans (GT), the only unbeaten team in the 2022 IPL, will look to carry their momentum in the tournament when they take on an inconsistent Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Monday.

GT sit in the second position after three back-to-back wins, while SRH, who tasted their first victory following two consecutive loses, are at eighth place.

Hardik Pandya's GT have found different match winners in every game, with the latest being Rahul Tewatia whose two sixes off the last two balls against Punjab Kings secured GT a thrilling win.

Although the likes of Shubman Gill and Pandya are in form, GT still have to resolve some batting issues as Matthew Wade and David Miller have been struggling.

The bowling department looks formidable with Mohammed Shami, Rashid Khan, Darshan Nalkande and Pandya all among the wickets.

On the other hand, SRH skipper Kane Williamson's slow start is hurting the side. The team convincingly defeated Chennai Super Kings on the back of a brilliant 75 by Abhishek Sharma.

With Abhishek and Rahul Tripathi in form, SRH have some stability in their line-up. But the team needs more of that to build on their latest victory.

All eyes will be on Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram to strengthen the middle order. Washington Sundar and T Natarajan bowled well against CSK.

And come Monday, SRH would need them to maintain their line and lengths against GT.
