IPL 2023: MS Dhoni to lead CSK for 200th time, Ravindra Jadeja says will win the match and give him as gift

Chennai: Ahead of their iconic skipper MS Dhoni leading four time winner Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for the 200th time in their second home match and fourth IPL match tis edition, CSK players showered encomiums on him with all rounder Ravindra Jadeja saying "we will win and give him as a gift" to mark the milestone.
 
Ravindra Jadeja, who is the vital cog in the CSK team, said "he (MSD) is a legend of Indian cricket. So I would like to wish him good luck".
 
"Hopefully in his 200th game, we will win in Chepauk and all the fans will be happy, so that we continue the momentum", he said.
 
"Hopefully we win and we give him a gift on his 200th (IPL) match as captain", Jadeja said.
 
Fast bowler Deepak chahar said "first he (MS Dhoni) will see if the bowler is willing to take the responsbility. If he is willing to take it, he will let you decide the field and what you want to bowl ", he said.
 
"If he feels the bowler is confused then he will give the field and when he gives the field, you will know what to bowl", Deepak Chahar said, with a photo showing Dhoni signing an autogrpah in his CSK jersey, which was shared by the CSK in its portal.
 
"He only steps in when he thinks that someone is new and is confused", he said.
 
New Zealand's Deven Conway, in his maiden season for CSK, said "it was special to see MS walk out at the Chepauk stadium.
 
"You hear a lot of stories about the crowd going crazy when he walks out to bat. And experiencing it first ahnd, being there was special", Conway said.
 
"I mean, it was so loud, I could not hear myself. It was so amazing to be there and experience that in person", he said.
