Kolkata: When the fat cat franchisees of IPL are diving for their desired player to have in their team, former Indian skipper Bishan Singh Bedi slammed the tournament in an offensive attire.

While attending a session on changing faces of Indian cricket at Kolkata Literary Meet, he said "When a player who is getting a mere 30 lakh rupees is sharing the same dressing room with the player getting 12 crore, is definitely a banner of inequality. Most of the time these incidents are acting as a catalyst to match fixing."

He also offensively said that if IPL is not money laundering then the word doesn't exists at all. Though his fellow panelist Rajdeep Sardesai opposed him by saying that, "If Umesh Yadav, whose father eventually had to work in a coal mine for living gets 8 crore rupees in IPL then I feel happy."

In a detailed session, both have shared their in depth views as Bishan Singh stated that the golden period of Indian team was none other than Sourav Ganguly's Team India and as per his concern the most gentle cricketer he have ever seen is Tiger Pataudi.

On the other hand, Rajdeep expressed his concern for the Indian constituency and said he believes cricket is one of those very few perspective that somehow tries to go in a constitutional way and that's why being the son of Dilip Sardesai he is not in the 22 yards now. One has to perform here to sustain. "Politicians are making the things dirty", included Sardesai.
