Sydney: The list of injured players is getting longer in the Border Gavaskar series, at least for team India. The latest to join the list is the spinal cord of Indian bowling lineup Jasprit Bumrah. He has been ruled out of the final and fourth test vs Australia scheduled to be played on 15th January in Brisbane.
As per the BCCI sources, Jasprit Bumrah is suffering from an abdominal strain and will hardly make it to the final test. It is to be noted that Mohammad Shami was ruled out of the 1st test, Umesh Yadav was ruled out after the 2nd test and now after Jasprit Bumrah's departure, the Indian bowling line up will be the most inexperienced unit ever walking on the field in a test.
In absence of Jasprit Bumrah, the new bowling sensation of white-ball cricket T Natrajan is expected to make space in the playing eleven. If all goes well, The left-arm pacer of Tamil Nadu will be the 300th test player for team India.(WD)
