Jasprit Bumrah ties knot with sports anchor Sanjana Ganesan, wishes pour in

New Delhi: India pacer Jasprit Bumrah on Monday tied the knot with sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan in a private ceremony in Goa.
The 27-year-old cricketer took to social media to announce the news and share pictures from the wedding ceremony.
 
'Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course. Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you. Jasprit & Sanjana.' Bumrah wrote along with pictures on Instagram.
 
Bumrah had earlier opted out of the fourth and final Test against England due to the personal reasons. Ever since, speculation over his marriage started doing the rounds on social media.
 
The pacer is also not the part of India's T20I squad for the England series is expected to make a comeback in the upcoming three-match ODI series which starts on March 23.
 
Sanjana has hosted a number of shows for Star Sports including Indian Premier League (IPL), Premier Badminton League (PBL), etc. The 28-year-old has also been hosting the weekly show for the IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) titled 'Knights Club'.
 
Before becoming a sports presenter, Ganesan was a finalist at the Miss India pageant in 2014 and was also part of MTV Splitsvilla reality show.
 
As soon as the couple made the announcement, messages wishing them well started to pour in on social media.
 
India captain Virat Kohli commented on Jasprit Bumrah's Instagram post as he wrote,"Congratulations and God bless you both. Much love."
 
'Many congratulations on the start of this beautiful journey. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness,' the BCCI tweeted.
 
'Bumrah bowled over by Sanjana Here's wishing love, laughter and a happily ever after for @Jaspritbumrah93 and @SanjanaGanesan,' pacer's IPL franchise Mumbai Indians tweeted.
 
'Congratulations @Jaspritbumrah93 @SanjanaGanesan Wishing you a healthy and happy married life,' all-rounder Hardik Pandya said in a tweet. (UNI)
